Complaint Procedure

We are committed to making every effort to come to a just resolution and to provide appropriate services to each student in Redlands. In the event of a complaint:

First - Speak to the school principal to discuss your concerns.
- if that conference does not resolve the problem,

Second - Speak to the Special Education Coordinator for your child’s program. An appointment may be scheduled by calling 748-6411. If that conference still does not resolve the problem,

Third - Speak to the Director of Special Services for Redlands USD. An appointment may be scheduled by calling at 748-6411. If that conference still does not resolve the problem,

Fourth – Contact the San Bernardino Office of Education Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA) at 433-4794. If that conference still does not resolve the problem,

Finally - Refer to your copy of your Special Education Rights of Parents and Children for next steps.
